With over three decades of diverse experience spanning business, education, personal development, and non-profit sectors, Diana has established herself as a multifaceted leader in transformation and empowerment.
Holding a BS in Education with a minor in Psychology from Boston University, complemented by a graduate certificate in Business from Adelphi University, Diana has continually expanded her expertise. Her credentials include certifications in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University, Business Coaching from Transformation Academy, and specialized training in Art Therapy, Storytelling, and Mindfulness. Additionally, Diana is a certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach and a certified Transformation Coach, further enhancing her ability to guide others through personal and professional growth.
Diana’s career journey has been marked by significant roles, including district management, public relations coordination, and event planning for Fortune 500 companies. As a business coach, she has guided numerous franchisees in starting, growing, and scaling profitable enterprises. Her experience extends into the non-profit sector, where she worked as a Marketing Manager, successfully securing grants and contributing to fundraising efforts. This background has given her a unique perspective on aligning business goals with social impact.
Diana knows the power of art for transformation. Over the years, she has worked in different capacities as an owner of an entertainment publication and as a senior dance instructor, and as a leader for an organization that focuses on inner transformation. She saw how art helped her sister grieve the loss of her beloved daughter. She also mentored interns who had social anxiety issues and, through various art mediums, were able to become less anxious and more confident.
Embracing the digital age, Diana has developed expertise in website development, blogging, and AI integration in her own business ventures. She has also mentored college students on digital marketing, passing on her knowledge to the next generation of professionals.
Passionate about women’s empowerment, Diana has dedicated herself to helping women become the ‘leading ladies’ of their lives. Her extensive wellness initiatives underscore her commitment to holistic well-being, particularly for women over 50. Diana co-authored two coaching books on wellness, further establishing her expertise in the field. Her role as Vice President of Wellness and Health for the Long Island Women’s Agenda (LIWA) allowed her to impact policy and programs on a broader scale. Diana’s ‘Dancing to Wellness’ program for seniors, along with her certifications in Zumba and Wellness Coaching, demonstrate her hands-on approach to promoting health and vitality. She has led numerous workshops on wellness, combining her coaching skills with her certified expertise to empower women to take charge of their physical and mental well-being. This multifaceted approach to wellness and empowerment has enabled Diana to touch the lives of countless women, helping them achieve balance, health, and personal fulfillment.
As a storyteller and advocate, Diana has made significant contributions to media and representation. She developed Black Talent TV to promote black entertainers and hosted a podcast featuring 60 successful women. Her ability to uncover and articulate transformative personal narratives has been instrumental in both individual and business growth strategies.
Diana’s philosophy centers on aligning business goals with personal values and societal impact. She champions the idea that it’s never too late for a ‘second act’ in life and encourages turning passions into social enterprises that address global issues.
In 2023, Diana took a significant step in realizing her vision by founding Healing Art Together, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people transform mentally and achieve better well-being. This initiative represents the culmination of her years of experience and her commitment to using art as a healing and transformative tool.
Recognized as a Community Role Model and awarded for “Harvesting a Heritage of Hope,” Diana has also dedicated over 30 years to volunteering with an NGO for World Peace. Her mission remains clear: to help others realize their potential, achieve greatness from within, and create positive change in their lives and communities.
Through Healing Art Together, Inc. and her ongoing coaching and mentoring work, Diana continues to make a lasting impact, combining her expertise in business, healing art coaching, and personal development to foster mental well-being and transformation on both individual and community levels.
